1. Membership Costs
(Top)
Our
Annual Junior Membership is currently £20. Club Members can
represent the Club in competitive table tennis in the
Chelmsford & District League and attend Club Night
without further charge.
For
those who wish to play league table tennis or in the
introductory league, CLICK, there is an additional fee which
covers player and team registrations. This is £12 for
league play, and £3 for CLICK.
So
in total for 2006/07:-
Junior
Membership plus league play - fee = £32
Junior
Membership plus CLICK play - fee = £23
For
all league and Click match play, there is also a match fee
to cover the cost of hire of premises. Details
of this are provided by the team captain or manager at the
start of the season.

Coaching
(Top)Information
about general coaching sessions, which are on Friday
evenings, can be found on the coaching
page of this
site. This can be found under Club Info.
Weekly
sessions are held at beginner, improver and advanced
standard. All are led by ETTA qualified coaches. These are
open to anyone. to ensure a place speak to Adrian
(01245 250710), Neil
(01245 354221) or Ryan
(01245 461354).
We also
offer special more intensive coaching workshops. These are
held approximately monthly on a Saturday afternoon from 2 -
5pm. The cost is £4 per session. These are by invitation
and are intended for players aiming for advanced or
excellence standards. They are open to members and
non-members - but are by invitation. For details or to book

3. National
Junior League (Top)
We
are in the National Junior League for 2006/07! Two teams
have been entered. This is the first time the Club has taken
part in NJL under its own name. NJL is a competition between junior teams
representing clubs and leagues throughout the area. We have
entered a London based zone as the Eastern Region event was
cancelled. It is run on a league basis. Teams are placed in
divisions by reference to their playing standard. An
opportunity exists for all of our junior members to be
considered for NJL teams. Selection will be on merit. Each team
will have a pool of a minimum of 4
players.
Anyone
interested should first complete a NJL registration form and
hand it to
Ryan
(01245 461354) as an expression of interest. Forms
can be obtained from Ryan.
Matches
are on 3 Saturday's as follows:-

20 January 2007
24 February 2007
These
are whole day events. And players would be expected to be
available for the whole day. Transport to venue's is
provided and Club coaches will be in attendance with the
juniors at all times.
In
order to participate in NJL players must hold an ETTA Player
Licence. The form can be found here,
and the form together with the appropriate fee should be
sent to the ETTA at the address shown.

4. ETTA
Junior Tournaments (Top)
To take part in ETTA tournaments all players must first hold
an ETTA Player Licence. The form can be found here,
and the form together with the appropriate fee should be
sent to the ETTA at the address shown.
A. Essex Junior Trials
An excellent way for our own
juniors to see how they are doing compared to others of
their own age is to take part in the County Junior Trials.
The date for this is:
16/17 September 2006
- at Harlow
The Chelmsford League will enter any of our
juniors who wish to take part. So if you are interested
speak to either Ryan
(01245 461354) or the League Junior Match Secretary Arthur
Clark. Transport can be provided, and our own coaches will
be on hand to support.
B. ETTA Tournaments
Details
of ETTA tournaments for juniors can be found from the ETTA
website. From time to time we will recommend suitable
tournaments and entry forms for these can be found here.
Again transport can usually be provided for these events and
one of our Club coaches will be on hand to support.
