COACHING COURSE COMES TO SUCCESSFUL END Tuesday 23 July marked the close of the 10 week adult coaching course organised and run by BVTTC and led by C&DTT League Coaching Officer Hil Dowsett. And as one delegate said: "thanks very much for allowing me to participate in the summer coaching course which has sadly just finished"! And many of the delegates would have echoed that sentiment. Speaking at the closing presentations ceremony, Coach Dowsett paid tribute to the efforts of delegates and staff through what he believed had been one of the best adult coaching courses he had ever taken part in. All delegates who completed the course were presented with an official Certificate of Achievement as the pictures below indicate. And taking up the remarks of delegates again; "the coaches along with guest helpers Terry Dowsett (a top First Division player) and Julie Vansertima (current Chelmsford Ladies Champion) were a dream to work with and had the patience of saints .... if I was shown to loop one time, I must have been shown a dozen times". It would seem fair to say, on this assessment that the course was a great success and very much appreciated by all who took part. Who knows perhaps it will even run again next year!
