Christmas at the Club

As they say, 'Christmas is for Children'. But of course we can all be young at heart! And young people were very much in evidence at the Christmas Ping Pong Party, on Friday 20 December.

Adult and junior members of the Club joined in the feasting and fun, and even managed a few games of table tennis. A highlight of the evening was a special raffle, with prizes donated by members and all proceeds going to the charity Shelter. £32 was raised. The strange thing was that almost everyone seemed to 'win' a prize! how just the right tickets were drawn I will never know, but then when you see who organised it - from the picture gallery below - perhaps that not so surprising!

A good time was had by all - and now we are looking forward to the New Year!

Yes, Christmas
is for Children!
And Aled Upson (right) seems to be in the Christmas spirit as with brother Haydn (centre)

Junior Club Members look on as the raffle draw takes place during the Party Time

The look
says it all! Was this the Social Secretary Diane Pitt caught in the act of 'rigging' the raffle?
It certainly seems that Sam is calling 'foul' in the background!
