Chris Irving is a winner! Chris,
who is a regular at Club Night at Melbourne on Friday along
with his friend Jonathan Birt, is a real sportsman. And he
displays his many talents not just at table tennis. Chris,
who is 38 and has Downs Syndrome, has been proud to show off
at Club Night recently some of his success away from the
table tennis table.
Any who have watched Chris
will know just how fleet of foot he is, and he's not a small
lad! That's hardly surprising as Chris counts dance amongst
one of his most successful pursuits. This was recognised
earlier this year by the United Kingdom Alliance for Dance
& Drama when Chris successfully completed his 'Bronze
Jazz' award with distinction.

Dance & Drama gained in June this year. |
Chris may be fleet of foot on
land, but you should see him in the water! In October Chris
joined a party of 40 swimmers for an International Swimming
Festival in Germany. And again came away with silverware,
being part of the team that won the back stroke relay
event.
