Wishing a very Happy Christmas
to all our readers!
Amidst all the excitement of
Christmas, please don't forget what it is really about!
The Club joined in the
seasons festivities at Club Night on Friday 22nd. Making
maximum use of the whole of the sports hall and the running
track the celebrations included novelty as well as serious
table tennis, with prizes abounding. There was also 5-a-side
football and, of course, plenty of goodies to eat and drink!
A great buffet of nibbles and drinks was organised by Donna
Hudgell and Diane Pitt, and lead coach Neil Gooday ably
organised and refereed the football! Even the Club chairman
was seen to try his luck at football! Between 50 -60 members
and guests enjoyed the fun and festivities. All
in all it was a pretty good night - even if there were one
or two aching bones in the morning!
We

tables were in use as well as the 5-a-side court. Fun
and gentle exercise hand in hand, an almost perfect
